| The White Mountains are known for making their own weather. Down in the valley, the day was rainy but fairly mild with moderate temperatures and no wind. At the summit at Crawford, driving rain, wind, cold temperatures and and fog awaited the passengers of the Notch Train. Here the train departs through the fog to head down the Notch back to North Conway. |
