The Lackawanna heritage unit heads up an eastbound intermodal through downtown Pittsburgh. Double stacks are still routed the long way thanks to the height restrictions through downtown, something NS is working to correct. However, 22W doesn't have high cars until Pittcairn, if ever, so it doesn't require the detour over the OC Bridge, Mon Line, and Port Perry Branch to bypass the station.
