Remarks & Notes |
M.W. of the locomotive team oils the engine of the very solidly built 2-8-2 "Mikado" 141 R # 1244, which was built in 1946 by the Montreal Locomotive Works for the French State railways (SNCF), together with over 1300 other of the same type by Baldwin, ALCO, Lima and Canadian Locomotive Company. The oilfired "gem" made a round trip in eastern part of Switzerland this day and was serviced at the Locorama at Romanshorn. |
