An empty coal train heading back to the mines in West Virginia, is seen concaving out of the wondrous marvel known as Natural Tunnel. The tunnel, which is 838 feet in length, was formed in the Pleistocene period, with the South Atlantic and Ohio Railroad building their right of way through the opening in 1893.
Taking a look at the same train and scene as captured by different photographers. The best way to view will be to sort by photo date so the photos are grouped together.
