| Resting at the Dallas Union Station, this train is soon going to make a trip halfway to Fort Worth before returning to the yard after running for the evening rush. Unknowing to anyone at the time, when the train leaves it will be the last uneventful trip for this locomotive. The following morning this locomotive hit a semi truck full of an asphalt mix on its way to Fort Worth at the beginning of the morning rush hour. This is the second accident within three months that has significantly damaged a TRE locomotive. |
