Remarks & Notes 
Santa Fe 5960 West attacks the eastern slope of Ash Hill. In a couple of miles, the train will reach what used to be known as "Squaw Summit." That's what SP called it when they built this line to Needles to meet the oncoming Atlantic & Pacific. The line was SP's Colorado Division.

What California is known for. Fires, droughts, weed, and people waving rainbow flags. Yah. Great place alright. At least the trains are nice.
