| The Sacramento Locomotive Works and a scene from the past. Union Pacific 844 rests outside The Shops awaiting the highball to enter the California Rail Museum to be on display. Echos of an earlier time.
While In the foreground being wrapped up is the new track alignment for Sacramento Union Station. Amtrak California's San Joaquin takes on passengers on the new platforms.
