The engineer of OSCR's Jackson local slows his train to a halt while a plan is formulated to remove this rig from the rails. The driver miscalculated a turn and a number of wheels became trapped between the gauge. Wet conditions prevented him from being able to free himself from the rail. The pace to resolve the situation was hastened at the distant sound of a horn. Eventually a series of boards were placed along the rail to free the driver. After inspecting the track for damage, the crew was able to continue about their day.
