The area of Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley centered about Nazareth is dotted with cement quarries and mills. The largest remaining portion of the Lehigh & New England, along with a little bit of the former Lackawanna Bangor & Portland Subdivision, served many of these mills, and became Conrail’s Cement Secondary.
