| With a outside air temp of -18 degrees...the eastbound daily freight from Waterloo to Kirk Yard pushes thru some small drifts by the old Beth Siding. The train is running behind today as a massive amount of bitterly cold air has pushed into the Midwest and slowed rail operations down alot. Drifts are finally starting to make it to the tracks to create some plowing action. Too bad temperatures in the 40's in the coming weekend will kill any fun snow plow action til we get more snow. |
