| A southbound empty coal train bound for McClure Mine passes thru Ivel on the Big Sandy. The train is working between Russell and Shelby. Unfortunately at Shelby the train would park and not run til later, not giving us the opportunity to do some Clinchfield action. This location is the Tram Yard to the right and Southern Marine Terminal Loader to the left. Back in 2017 this place was a ghost town, but now in late 2018 coal is pouring again out of the mine. |
