Remarks & Notes

An eastbound lumber drag crosses the Madeline Plains on Southern Pacific's Modoc Line. Most of the traffic was off the Siskiyou in Plate C cars. This resulted in many trains with a nice, uniform "squeezed from a tube" appearance.
