2-8-0 freight train steamlocomotive # 2857, a George Jackson Churchward 2800 Class, was built in 1918 at the GWR’s Swindon Works. Withdrawn in 1963. Since 1980 operational again and on 18 September 2018 the locomotive passed 100,000 miles in preservation. She was photographed running along the Severn river between Highley and Arley on the Severn Valley Railway during a photo charter of TimeLine Events for Tanago.
