On a rainy spring day, Montana Rail Link’s Bitterroot local crosses the busy intersection of Brooks Street and Reserve Street (which is also U.S. Highways 93 and 12) on the Darby line at Missoula, Montana, on May 18, 2013. Unfortunately, this local, also known as the Darby local, no longer runs—and the venerable Geeps are out of work too with the end of the Paradise local.
