Remarks & Notes
Happy Birthday Conrail! Looking at this scene of a heavy FRSE-01 coming off the grade through CP-148 on a beautiful autumn afternoon brings a pang of sadness of what might of been. I always will cherish my memories of the big blue roaming in the Berkshires. It always felt like a perfect fit photogenically. CSXT s disregard for this New England Line today just makes memories like this that much more heartbreaking today.

The EMD SD (special duty) series are a strong and reliable kind of locomotive which still serve America's rails today. They have proved themselves reliable by clocking in several million miles of freight service.
