On a perfect spring afternoon in the lower Tehachapi foothills, a north bound BNSF auto rack train navigates down the west curves of the Caliente Canyon, along side the winding creek. The train is moments from exiting the canyon and will then level out, off the grade, for the trip up the Central Valley to Northern California.
