Remarks & Notes
Running nearly ten hours behind schedule, Amtrak's westbound Southwest Chief knocks down the first set of semaphore signals on its westbound journey across the Raton Subdivision. The delay was cause by hitting a car in Kansas which also added to body damage to the AMTK 5.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
