A bit of sunlight makes its way through the Hoboken trainshed to illuminate a pair of hulking GE U34CHs that await their next trip to the suburbs. The 32 U34CHs built for the Erie Lackawanna and later operated by NJ Transit ruled diesel runs out of Hoboken for a generation.
