Boston & Maine road slug 100 and parent GP40-2 300 team up with a pair of GP38-2s on train MERU (Mechanicville, NY, to Rumford, ME) at Lowell, MA. The home made slug was built at the B&M's Billerica (MA) shop on the frame of an ex-UP GP9.
