The 10.58 passenger service from Ipswich to Felixstowe approaches Trimley station. Incredibly, the branch line from Ipswich to the UK's most important container port at Felixstowe is still largely single track. However, as can be seen, work is now in progress to extend the spur from the port's North terminal, on the left in the photo, to increase capacity and enable more freights to run.
