Remarks & Notes
Based on looking at a CNW diesel roster, this odd ball unit started out as a 6 axle Baldwin road switcher about 1951. It was re-engined be EMD in the late 50s, receiving what appears to be a GP18 long hood. The paint scheme with the single strip on the nose fits this period. It would appear that Oelwein stuck two axle AAR trucks from former CGW RS-2 no. 53 under this unit at some point. This unit would leave Oelwein as scrap.
