| For the opening of the 2019 season of association steam railway Zürcher Oberland (DVZO), the 0-6-0 steamlocomotive Ed 3/3 # 401 from 1901 got an improved appearance by some dedicated young members. The earlier toy locomotive look with red wheels and brass boiler bands changed to a more authentic look about how the locomotive was delivered by SLM to the Swiss Northeast Railway (NOB) in 1901. The locomotive was then used from 1905 by the Uerikon-Bauma-Bahn (UeBB) on the line which today is part of the DVZO. |
