Summer may be in the air but for the hills around the Tehachapi Loop this June, they will tell you that spring is still out in force, as they are seen covered in the purple of wildflowers, with a south bound UP intermodal below twisting around the loop in the morning light. However the days of wildflowers will soon be gone, as the warm sun rises for another hot day on Tehachapi.
