Remarks & Notes
Union Pacific train MNPRV-23 departs Green River, Wyoming, after making a crew change on August 24, 2017. The 11,004 ton, 7,767 foot manifest is heading from North Platte, Nebraska, to Roseville, California, with 120 cars (83 loads and 37 empties). Leading the train is Union Pacific ES44AC 7605, of note because when it was delivered in January 2007, it was painted in a special metallic green and blue scheme with General Electric markings - even though it was a UP locomotive - for use on GE's "Green Locomotive Technology Tour" train. UP SD70ACe 8591 is behind the 7605, and UP AC6000CW 6918 is the rear DPU. (Lead engine UP 7605 was spotted as a trailing unit on a train arriving in North Platte five days earlier, on August 19.)
