On the footplate of Europe's most powerfull narrow gauge cogwheel steamlocomotive, HG 4/4 # 704 of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke (DFB), which is running up the mountain on a grade of 11.0 % with a steady 15 km/h. Fireman Bernhard is throwing another shovel of welsh coal into the firebox. This 0-8-0 T 800 horsepower 4 cylinder compound locomotive was built by the SLM Winterthur in 1923 and delivered to Indochine (later Vietnam), now is is operational on the Furka mountain line new this season.
