| 4 cylinder compound cogwheel steamlocomotive HG 4/4 # 704 of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke (DFB) reached Muttbach-Belvedere station with train 134 from Oberwald to Realp. Note that the locomotive crew, the well-knowned Landenberger brothers Fredy and Stefan, are proud to use the petroleum headlights instead of the very similar electric ones. A nice detail, which most of those present hardly noticed. The diameter of this petroleum lamps is very slightly more then that of the similar looking electric lamps. |
