| Cogwheel steamlocomotive HG 4/4 # 704 reached Gletsch with train 134 from Oberwald to Realp and is taking water. The locomotive, which was built in 1923 for Indochina (Vietnam), never ran in Switzerland before and is new this season on the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke in regular service. Note the petroleum headlights, which are used by the Landenberger crew. Usually there are electric headlights, which are looking very similar. |
