A Maintenance of Way crew wrapped up work on the turnout in the foreground just before BNSF train E-MHSBKM0-77, an empty unit coal train heading from the Georgia Power generating plant in Juliette GA back to the Buckhorn Mine in Wyoming, arrived. The train is passing though Kansas City, Missouri's Santa Fe Junction, a maze of trackwork in the city's West Bottoms area along the banks of the Kansas River. BNSF SD70ACe 8458 and Citirail (CREX) 1402 are on the head-end, and BNSF ES44AC 6412 and AC4400CW 5838 are the rear Distributed Power Units (DPU). (Kansas City, Missouri - August 13, 2018)
