Cajon, an old station on the Santa Fe, sits in the heart of southern California's Cajon Pass. BNSF Railway train Q-ALTSBD6-24, a Guaranteed Service Intermodal train heading from Alliance TX to San Bernardino CA, passes through Cajon on July 27, 2019. These days this is just the spot where BNSF's 2.2% Main 1 and Main 2 (which this train is on) diverge from 3% Main 3, the original alignment over Cajon Pass. Back in the day, though, this location had a station and water tower.
