| It is a wet muggy day near the coast of British Columbia. Mike Thomas is the Locomotive Engineer this day, as he brings train 571 north up the 2.2% grade in Cheakamus Canyon. A heavier rain can be seen coming down in the background of the photo, and will catch me on my hike out of the canyon. The train will make good time on its journey to the engineers's home terminal of Lillooet, BC. . |
