EMD Demonstrator 1206 leads a empty coal train under the flanks of the Rocky Mountains. The locomotives are doing traction testing on the high elevation, grades and curves of Union Pacific's Moffat Subdivision. Since Tennessee Pass was closed this grade is often the testing location of new and retrofitted locomotives.
