| BNSF 2828 was built in 1962 for the CB&Q and wore the iconic red and white scheme. It was later pressed into service for the Burlington Northern and wore Cascade Green. With the BNSF it has worn a Heritage I scheme and now a Heritage III scheme. The paint is starting to fade and is taking on a more pale salmon looking color. However, at 57 years old it till makes bank, and is seen here working the oil cans in at the Commerce City refineries. |
