Remarks & Notes
On a late July evening in Northern California, Union Pacific 3002 drags an 814' rock train through the Feather River Canyon at Pulga. The fifteen hopper cars were loaded with ballast just twenty miles down the line at Elsey. UP 3002 was en route to Keddie, where it would tie down for the night. Over the following days, crews would dump the ballast along portions of the upper Canyon Subdivision as part of a work project.
