Remarks & Notes
Memphis' Main Street Trolley pauses at Peabody Place at around 9:25pm (according to the overhead clock). An extended stop allowed for the car to be overtaken by a slow-moving horse and carriage. 540 was built in the late 1920s for service in Melbourne, Australia. A group of these "W2" cars were acquired by MATA in the late 90s/early 00s and have since been extensively overhauled for this heritage streetcar operation.

An ongoing/growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome, but seldom seen beauty of railroads at sundown or in the light of sunrise. From dusk to dawn, lights are on! (And I continue to find new "Lights In The Night"!)
