Cumberland Mine Railroad SD38-2 1 prepares to lead its train, long-hood forward, back to the mine for another loal of coal. On the trip to the mine, CMYX SD38-2 22 will be the trailing unit on the rear of the train, but 22 will lead on the return trip to the company's barge loading facility on the Monongahela River with 1 shoving on the rear. This railroad is isolated from any other railroad, and its lack of connections required the locomotives and cars to be trucked in. CMYX 1 was built as US Steel 1.
