| NS 9673 rolls south past the ex-Southern Railway Bessemer Station. The large mill in the background was a Pullman Standard factory that ceased production in the 90's (by that time it was a part of Trinity Industries). It is now used by BLOX. Not to knock Bessemer but it does rank most dangerous city in Alabama and one of the worst cities to live in (according to the Wall Street Journal) so watch your surroundings if you are in the area. |
