Three years after the last train rolled here, nature is beginning to take over the abandoned Central Massachusetts Branch of the Boston & Maine in Waltham, MA. The line was railbanked by the MBTA for possible (if unlikely) future use, and in 2019 the rusted rails are still in place, buried under 30+ years of vegetation growth.
