| UP Varnish Flies at Gaviota It certainly feels like a fall day along the California coast this afternoon as the gloomy sky helps the passage of this seven-car, Union Pacific business car special stand out as it crosses the 811-foot long trestle at Gaviota. The train is carrying dozens of members part of the California Short Line Railroad Association up to San Luis Obispo where the train will lay over for the night before returning to Los Angeles (West Colton) the following day. For those wondering, yes, the water was cold. |
