| UP 2380 is starting up from a stop after waiting while the Conductor removed the derail at the west end of the yard at East Carbon Development Co’s hazardous waste disposal facility. The location is south (RR east) of the town of Wellington, Utah and is accessed off of the Green River Sub at Mounds, Utah. The ECDC accepts contaminated soil from all over the country, but is particularly known here on Railpictures as the destination for the contaminated soil from the Hunters Point area of the San Fransisco Bay area.The grade here is 1.76% This is the well known Dirt Train out of the yard at Helper. |
