| At the conclusion of the doubleheaded westbound run from Cheyenne to Ogden, the Big Boy and 844 were split at the south end of Union Pacific's Ogden Yard, to be staged at different locations for the Golden Spike Anniversary events. A small handful of railfans were present to witness 4014's first solo movements outside of the steam shop without any other locomotives assisting within the consist. |
