Remarks & Notes
Cleanup on Aisle 4
Near the throat of the eastbound classification yard at Brunswick, CSXT 940508 works to rerail several wayward loaded hoppers on the No. 4 running track on 08/24/1988.

The former B&O X-217 (renumbered to 940508 on 10/04/1982) is a 250 ton diesel wrecker built by Industrial Brownhoist Corporation (Bay City, MI) in October 1954 (B/N = 12246).

Although it appears to have no assignment marking in this photograph, in January 1987 CSXT 940508 was the Grafton-based wreck crane.

CSXT 940508 was retired on 07/26/1990 and scrapped. However, its sister, CSXT 940505, as B&O X-215, is part of the collection at the B&O Railroad Museum.
