UP 3071, an SD70ACe-T4 model, leads this export coal train, which was loaded on the North Fork branch south of Grand Junction, Colorado. This ex. D&RGW trackage parallels the majestic Book Cliffs from Palisade, Colorado to Helper, Utah. At over 200 miles It is the longest continuous escarpment in the world. Photo taken at east switch Grassy siding.
