Remarks & Notes
"Crossing Île Bigras Railway Bridge in the Snow" A southbound Exo Deux-Montagnes train rounds the curve into Pierrefonds-Roxboro after just crossing the Île Bigras Railway Bridge which spans the Rivière des Prairies. The bridge was built in 1916 by the Canadian National Railway and consists of two spans that connects Sainte-Dorothée and Pierrefonds-Roxboro, with Île Bigras in the center. It is now owned by Réseau de transport métropolitain. The Deux-Montagnes Line is currently being converted from heavy rail commuter to light rail meaning many distinctive traits of this line, including the one off Bombardier MR-90 rail cars, will be eliminated or changed forever.
