Yet another long train of containers is coming out of the Los Angeles Harbor as BNSF Railway train S-LHTCLO1-21 passes through Fullerton Junction, where the BNSF’s San Bernardino Sub (the left and center mainlines) diverge from Metrolink’s Orange Sub to San Diego (the center and right mainlines – the center main splits around the corner, but the main on the right becomes Metrolink’s operating territory at the switch in the foreground). BNSF Dash 9-44CW 5445 and ET44C4 3916 are up front, with ES44AC 6199 and Dash 9-44CW 4412 as the rear Distributed Power Units (DPU), taking this intermodal stack train to Clovis, New Mexico.
