Canadian Gems: Canadian Pacific train 252 hustles through Edie RD in Saratoga Springs, NY with quite the photogenic duo of locomotives. Powering the train are a pair of freshly rebuilt CP SD70ACUs, CP #7010 and CP #6644. CP #7010 is painted in the notorious and classy Canadian Pacific “heritage” scheme, while CP #6644 is part of the “CP Support Our Troops” series, wearing a spitfire-inspired paint scheme and the number 6644 to honor D-Day. The fact that these locomotives made it together in the first place was awesome, but running together through the snow sure brought it to a whole different level!
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
