| The size of Union Pacific’s Big Boy 4014 is evident as it passes by in the middle of snowstorm in the Denver area on November 26, 2019. With a two month tour of the southwest wrapping up and after spending the night at Utah Junction near Pecos Street, No. 4014 treads eastward in a backup move of over 4 miles on the Belt Line at Washington Street amid heavy snow to reach the Greeley Subdivision and a northbound trip home to Cheyenne. It’s interesting to see the cab of an operating No. 4014 all buttoned up against the elements. |
