Remarks & Notes
In the late 1960s and 70s Altoona served as a shop for doing work on EMD switch engines. As a result this former CGW "calf" sits outside the roundhouse ( with a CNW no.) while 58-A is inside having traction motor work done. (The Geep behind the 58-B is a former Minneapolis & St. Louis GP 9 acquired through merger in 1960. CGW joined in summer 1968. MSTL Geeps were the only dynamic brake Geeps owned by CNW in this era.
