Hartwell Railroad's GRWR # 6525 is a GP9 engine that was built for the Baltimore & Ohio (B&O) Railroad in 1957 by EMD. After the merger with Chesapeake & Ohio (C&O) Railway and Western Maryland (WM) Railway, Chessie System was founded in 1973. Chessie used a paint scheme that contained the kitten logo originally introduced by C&O in the 1930s
