| Working upgrade out of Blue Cut and toward the Swarthout Canyon Road grade crossing, BNSF's Southern California Christmas Train is making its first and only climb up the western slope of Cajon Pass this year as the entire train catches the morning light here. By the time the train completes its round-trip from Barstow to Victorville and slips back down this half of the pass - the sun will long be down. |
