| The north end of the Black Hills Sub doesn't offer much for scenery or population. Along highway 212 the Belle Fourche Job pokes along at 10 mph enroute to Rapid City. The train is pretty much madeup up of betonite clay from the customers at the end of the line at Colony. Rapid City is only about 65 miles from here, but it is a long ways from here as the job will travel many miles of 10 mph before barely getting to Rapid by their HOS at 3 pm. |
